Jessica Olcott Yllemo serves as the Director, Climate Security Programs at the American Security Project, a non-partisan DC based think tank focused on the changing nature of national security. She has worked at the nexus of complex global issues for more than 15 years and supported a variety of state, federal, and international programs on climate security, international disaster response/emergency preparedness, and security cooperation programs. Ms. Yllemo has worked across the U.S. interagency at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels, and has designed, executed, and evaluated more than 45 domestic and international exercises and security cooperation missions. She is an Executive Member of the Global Military Advisory Council on Climate Change, and a Class of 2024 Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project.
